Synopsis
The completeness of natural knowledge, including geography, climatology and geology, has blocked the possibility for humans to wander with curiosity through a chaotic world. The continents, oceans, islands and mountains precisely depicted on maps seem to suggest that certain forms of primitive mystery are retreating from physical geography.
This short film attempts to reopen an individual's exploration of landscape, like a nearly Quixotic journey, moving against the current to record traces of mythology wavering between reality and imagination. All established knowledge, including the opposition between ocean and land, may be subverted and reconstructed through an individual's images. The secret language of the world is hidden between two seemingly unrelated extremes. And what opens all of this may simply be an unexpected upheaval in an individual's life.
